At the age of 15, he was the DJ at a successful school function, which led to him becoming a DJ at several local events. After a move to Jacksonville, Florida in 1994, Troy was asked to DJ at a friend’s wedding, which led to a career as a mobile DJ for other events in the area. A year later, he started REAL MUSIC & CO and began networking throughout Northern Florida and providing his services for corporate events, private parties, and charity events.
